The House of Lords Select Committee on National Policy for the Built Environment published ‘Building better places’ on 19 Feb 2016. Chapter 4 on sustainability and resilience calls for Local Authorities to have ‘ambitious’ targets for Lifetime Homes and neighbourhoods. It also refers to evidence given in the House of Lords by Habinteg Chief Executive, Paul Gamble in terms of the societal and financial benefits of inclusive design and good management.
